Description

Well, well, well, the second Friday the 13th of this year where three of the 'unlucky' days reside (an event that usually only occurs every 11 years). And, fortuitously, marking official one year anniversary of my posting images here on Renderosity. ~~~~ So, I handed off a nice gold coin to one of the Rangers in my runtime and asked her and her little companion dragon to take it to a wishing well she knew of in Destiny's Realm. A wish for luck and good fortune for another year of creative rendering, wonderful feedback and most importantly, valued friends. Graciously, she agreed and took off to that Realm beyond most mortal's reach. Beyond Dream's Domain and Death's shadowy realm. Past the lusty cries of Desire's guarded fortress and those shared by Delirium and Despair. To verdant fields where Delight once wandered and Destruction dared not came. My Ranger was most generous, though her companion was confused, when she made her wish and tossed the coin into the murky blue. Trilling, most indignantly, to what to him was a thoughtless disregard. He could have granted the whispered wish, and had a new coin for his hoard. (Bonus points to anyone who can call on the literature that was the base and primary influence for my verse ;-) Hint: think Comicbook/Graphic Novel ) ~~~~ A VERY special thank you to all the friends I have met here at Rendro, who have supported, offered aid, suggestions and ideas when my muse was taking his oh so frequent coffee breaks. And to every artist who takes the chance and puts their work up and out for public critique -- you all know it's not as easy as it seems. Each artist is unique and each work should be seen as such, never demeaned or reprimand for style 'outside the box'. If not for you, the rest of us would have nothing to aspire to. So it is to all of you, my friends, that this image and wish are dedicated. Without you all, I certainly wouldn't have been posting for a whole year! *grin* Nor be so close to 200 images in my gallery. With most humble thanks ~~ Here's to another year and another 200+ images! ~~~~ Victoria 4.2 -- DAZ Trish texture -- Liquid Rust Savannah Hair and Illumination and Style Pak -- Harvey Mann Ryder for V4 -- Orion1167 Desire for Ryder -- _brandy_ (no longer available to my knowledge) DAZ Dragonling -- DAZ Adorable Hatchling Poses -- Daio Dragon Hoard & Sacrificial Altar -- Single Coin -- DAZ Millennium Environment -- Water Plane -- DAZ Wishing Well, primary V4 pose, and Candle from Spirit Asylum -- DM Productions Flame and Sparklies Brushes from Obsidian Dawn -- www.obsidiandawn.com Background Stock Image Lighting and pose adjustment by me

Nicely done. I like the dragon looking into the well after that coin he/she desired.
