La largeur de cet anneau est de 2000 années lumières, et il entoure un nuage extrêmement dense de six fois le diamètre de l’anneau composé d’un peu d’oxygène, de beaucoup d’hydrogène et d’hélium. D’ailleurs ce noyau apparemment se compose de quatre tronçons de même importance qui semblent vouloir se réunir... Sommes nous en présence d’une future étoile double ? Nous ne le saurons pas faute de recul dans le temps, mais cette théorie est possible, si la vitesse de l’anneau s’accélerait, celui ci provoquerait alors une force d’attraction centrifuge qui réduirait et désodilariserait une partie de ce noyau plein d’énergies instables. Demain, je vous montrerait une nouvelle porte (ouf), qui aurait pu nous permettre de quitter rapidement cette «tranche» d’univers...mais un phénomène étonnant qui sera présenté lundi nous en empèchat !
