A momentary break from the photos (I still have ten more queued, to be uploaded over the next fortnight), I've recently been wanting to get back into 3D rendering, which can be just as enjoyable as photography, even if any journeys to interesting places are purely imaginary ones. :) This is my first completed attempt at an image I've been trying to produce recently, and as I said, my first 'real' 3d rendering in a long while. It's not identical to my initial vision, but is perhaps closer to what I want. (If that makes sense?) There are still a few things I need to correct with it, but I've decided to produce this first version for now. Feedback, criticisms, or suggestions for improvement are all very much welcome. Used: - Vue 7 Pioneer (beta) for backdrop. - Cinema 4D 6 SE for creating the tower. - Cinema 4D R10.5 (demo) for rendering the tower. - Paint Shop Pro X for combining and minor postwork. - Moon image/texture is from NASA website.
