Conociendo San Pedro San Pedro San Pedro se encuentra en el Km 154 de la Ruta Nac. Nº 9. A 164 Kms. de la Capital , y a 151 Km . de Rosario. ¿Como llegar ? Saliendo de Buenos Aires, desde la General Paz , se toma por el Acceso Norte, ramal a Campana, hasta el Km. 154, desde allí, hacia la derecha, se toma la ruta de acceso a San Pedro. Restan así solo 10 kms. para llegar hasta nuestra ciudad. Esta excelente ruta, permite recorrer el camino descripto en menos de dos horas. Al llegar al comienzo de la calle Mitre, principal arteria de la ciudad, se tomará contacto con el esplendoroso panorama que se contempla desde las altas barrancas y donde se pueden apreciar en primer plano la Laguna de San Pedro y luego el Río. Paraná, donde transitan enormes cargueros provenientes de y hacia los lugares mas remotos del mundo, transportando miles de toneladas de cereales y oleaginosas producidos en nuestros campos. Al fondo, verán la Provincia de Entre Ríos. Desde este sitio, hacia el norte, podrán recorrer el Boulevard Almirante Brown, donde están emplazados cuatro miradores que penden de las barrancas, brindando una vista espectacular. Se llega así hasta la plazoleta erigida en memoria de nuestro Almirante. A pocos metros se encuentra la culminación del "Via Crucis de las Barrancas de San Pedro" , el cual tiene sus primeras Estaciones, en la Avenida Juan de Garay y las subsiguientes, se encuentran a la vera del sendero que serpenteando las barrancas, culmina en la gran cruz de quebracho, junto a la plataforma de ceremonias y a las gradas desde la que el público participa de las mismas. La cuidad cuenta con una buena infraestructura hotelera, campings con todos los servicios, ubicados en zonas aledañas a la Laguna de San Pedro. Los restaurantes ofrecen una variedad gastronómica de todo tipo en la que se incluyen platos preparados con pescados obtenidos del cercano Paraná. Es posible, contratar guías de pesca, que a bordo de sus lanchas, lo llevarán a los lugares donde haya mayores posibilidades de obtener buenas piezas. Y los amantes de los deportes náuticos encontraran en la laguna un lugar propicio para la práctica y el disfrute en familia por la tranquilidad de sus aguas. También se podrán realizar interesantes City Tour con las guías locales, recorriendo el casco histórico para conocer la mágica historia de nuestra cuidad que data de la época de la colonia; y visitar alguno de los tres museos que posee la cuidad. San Pedro es ideal para pasear con la familia. Puede realizar cabalgatas, visitas a galpones de empaques y pasar la noche inmerso en el campo. Además hay espacios diseñados al aire libre con una interesante oferta para los niños. Y transitando la ruta Lucio Mansilla, a 17 kms. de San Pedro, hacia el norte, podrá conocer la Vuelta de Obligado, sitio histórico, donde el 20 de Noviembre de 1845, ocurrió la Batalla homónima, en la que nuestros patriotas ofrendaron sus vidas en aras de la Soberanía Nacional. Hay un monumento erigido en homenaje a nuestros héroes, donde junto a las placas rememorativas, penden muestras de las cadenas que se cruzaron sobre el Paraná para impedir el paso de la Armada anglo-francesa. También podrá recorrer algunos de los viveros de plantas frutales, ornamentales y otras que harán las delicias de las señoras, ya que es posible adquirirlas para llevarlas a sus hogares. Uno de los principales viveros posee una extensión de ocho hectáreas destinadas al cultivo de rosas, bajo licencia de la firma Meilland de Francia. Y cuando Ud. llegue a San Pedro, podrá percibir una población sumamente receptiva, que ve con agrado y entusiasmo la visita de los turistas y dispuesta a contribuir a hacer más placentera su visita . Knowing San Pedro San Pedro is located at Km 154 Ruta Nac No. 9. A 164 kms from the capital, and to 151 Km. Rosario. How to get there?
