Description

Taken in February, in my yard. Cropped, framed, and sig added in PSP. Spring is almost here, the daffodils are poking little green noses up out of the leaf litter, the buds on the trees are ready to burst. So I thought I'd post this last winter picture. Many thanks for all the lovely comments on my springish fractal! I love working with the scripts Bart and Bunny have been collaborating on. I'm behind on my viewing and commenting again, so I'm going to try to catch up and just thank you all right here for the faves on the previous post, "a little bit of spring" instead of writing individual thanks. Hope you don't mind. Wishing you all a lovely warm weekend with lots of sunshine!

This is an excellent piece of wintry photography Rita, and thank goodness at the moment we are experiencing more springlike weather where I live in the UK. My cats have been running in and out having an amazing time chasing one another. Amazing how they suddenly come alive once the sun shines and the birds sing their little hearts out. A lovely capture with great lighting. Great that you have signs of spring starting to show up in the garden. I love it when the daffodils come out as they are so cheerful looking.

How exciting to say "last winter picture" for the season, you must be ready for the sun's warmth and green views! Wonderful image, though I don't get views anymore like this living in Florida, I do get the cold!. When I close my eyes as the 20 degree weather hits my face, I can remember the snow slapping my burning my cheeks. Stay warm, spring is in the air--the geese left weeks ago and the robins took wing for the north not long after them! [=

I always like looking at photo's of ice as it so reminds me of happy winters when I was a child when I used to bang the trees and watch all the ice fall off .. usually on my head. Tony.
