Description

The four sons of Mil, or Milesius, with their followers set sail from Spain to settle Ireland. They were Amergin the druid, Eber Donn, Eber Finn and Eremon. Here Amergin calms the fairy seas around the Irish coast just before Eber Donn lets out a triumphant war cry which breaks the spell and causes a storm that he drowns in. They fight and defeat the Tuatha De Danann and become the ancestors of modern Ireland. Eremon and Eber Finn could not agree on who should lead and so the country was divided in two. Eventually the two brothers waged a war that saw Eber Finn killed and Eremon crowned the High King of Ireland by Amergin.
