Description

This is a wallpaper I made in '04, I made a bunch of these from pics of my favorite cosplayer Tristen Citrine (pictures used with permission.). Not the greatest work ever but I like them still and had fun making them. I will post from time to time when I don't have a poser piece or new pictures I took. I hope you like. Comments welcome. Thanx for looking. ^_^ PS. I forgot to mention, she makes all her own costumes, which makes her even cooler in my book. ^_^

Obviously you had to seperate the the girl from whatever backround each of these photographs came from- and you did a very impressive job man- I know this personally- using the photoshop or equivalent program with magic wand or screen/mask then tweaking the selection so you dont remove hunks of the figure- this took a few man hours to complete! I hate these damn "great work" flyby comments when someone puts effort into an image like you did here- this took some time to compose, and you did a very nice job. That being said, the center photograph layer is obviously out of focus- I am sure you know it- but try this, I am referencing photoshop as I know it, but I think paintshop pro does something similar-- basically, you convert the layer in question to LAB color. Then you select the luminance mask- and run a filter on it to sharpen it. In Photoshop its under 'Sharpen' and 'Unsharp mask'. Not the most intuitive name- but you run this filter on the luminance channel and you wouldnt belive the effect it can have on a slightly out of focus or soft shot. It won't perform miracles, but it will make a huge difference.
