Description

Evening all :o) Jenny has been moved to a different hospital today ,and to make it worse they have put her in an old peoples ward which she is`nt very happy about .Jenny is much better in health and mind than her 2 inmates who do nothing but cry out for no reason for someone to help them .Its a very depressing place to say the least .June and myself are going up to see the Doctors in the morning to try and get her out of there and bring her home to our house .I could`nt bear to be in there for the 2 hours visiting tonight so you can imagine what it must be like for Jenny . This squirrel which I captured this afternoon was really taunting me and was`nt the slightest bit put off by my presence with the camera :o) I am looking and commenting when I can .Hopefully things will get back to normal soon .Thanks for taking a look and take care . Mick

I feel sorry for Jenny... I hope you can bring her home soon. The closeness of the relatives and her home is the best medicine! Excellent photo! :)

Oh poor Jenny, I remember on a number of occassions when I have had surgery put with ageing people who also cry out a lot, I felt so sorry for them, and I was only young at the time, it has lived with me forever. So if you can help Jenny be with you, it will surely help her recover quicker. I just love this squirrel Mick a perfect shot, and great on the zoom for the detail, hugs Jane xx

LOL! He does have a bit of a "Dirty Harry" look about him, doesn't he? Beware of squirrels with guns. :) I hope you can bring Jenny home. You're all in my thoughts, my friend ...

I wouldn't fancy my chances against him, he looks quite threatening for a rodent! Just back away slowly, and put down the peanuts...

I hope you succeed in bringing Jenny home! Staying in that depressing place is bad for her health! The squirrela is really superlative, especially his defiant expression!

First of all let me say I like your Eastwood squirrel here Mick, nice work. Now let me say I do understand what Jenny is going through as my Grandmother used to be a nurse in a rest home when I was a small boy and I recall exactly what you were talking about where you feel for the people who are not that bad off as they are surrounded by those who are screaming and in need. I'll keep her in my prayers.

Mick, I have seen the same happen to loved ones here and it can be so difficult for everyone when "mis" placement occurs. Hopefully, the doctors will listen and understand that Jenny needs more than "a bed." You won't believe it, but I took shots of our resident squirrel yesterday. He doen't come around much since I ran out of feeder corn for him, and I'm afraid my shots can't hold a candle to this one you've done. Stunning detail and the expression is outstanding.

He really is suggesting you "bring it on" Mick, what a handsome chap! Poor Jenny- it is very sad when someone needs recuperation and goes in a ward that is so depressing, your home would help her get better much quicker. Hope all goes well Mick
