OK, here's the story behind the photograph. A few years ago, I was mowing the lawn and noticed the telltale signs of a rabbit nest. I carefully peeked in the nest & there were several newborns, eyes still closed. I figured I had a day or so to prepare something interesting in the way of a photo or two. So, off to the grocery store; buy produce for the feast; build a set in the studio; light it, polaroid tests, get rabbits, put them in the set, shoot 2 rolls of 6x7 asa 100 transparency film on the Mamiya; and return the little cuties back to their nest. They had a very brief modeling career but were romping in the neighborhood in no time at all. Hope you enjoy! -James
