Description

Nice warm sunny day..thought I'd go and check out the lake..We've had some heavy rain, I expected more of the ice to be broken up.. I saw folks a good half mile out Ice Fishing.. some walked, some drove ATV's out.. I fell thru the ice taking photo's.. Go figure.. Lucky for me I was near the shore..less than knee deep.. I can tell you for sure, it scared the hell out of me..and it was COLD !!!

As a child, I often looked out on Lake Erie and wondered how anyone could walk on that ice. I was terrified of it and even the pond where we skated, I'd stay right along the edge. I had almost forgotten the sight of thawing ice. This is great.
