Look who I met when walking in the park yesterday. Isn't he lovely? He was very trustful allowing me to come quite close. Actually I am not sure about it's gender...

Lovely, certainly female and probably Roe Deer as they tend to be solitary and small..

Danny is right as far as I can see. The head shape and coloring, as well as body build do speak out as Roe Deer - female. She lovely and I can see a nice heavy coat of hair there. I have never seen one of these in the flesh but I imagine is quite thrilling - more so for me since we do not have Roe here.

Great! I am glad that she was identified as Roe Deer. There are lots of them in our parks (Chicago area). There were two at the time of taking this picture, but I've seen them in groups of up to seven (or maybe they were different kind -- I am not good in telling). Thank you for your nice comments!
