Description

This is something I've been thinking about doing for sometime just got around to it. A comparisons between my Tokina 10mm fisheye and my Sigma 10mm wide angle. Taken in almost the same spot. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) **Best Viewed Full Size** Thank you for the comments on my last upload thumb_1849990.jpg

Yep!, I wasn't wrong that this will be a cool comparison, I like this image a great deal, not just because of the comparison, but the overall textures and colours, a beautiful job!

Well done. I've been wondering what the difference would be...and just like that you've showed us all. Which do you prefer? Part of the answer has to be another question...what is my purpose for taking the picture? Might want the more formal wide angle for something like a wedding book. Might want the fisheye for something completely informal...

Well I like them both, the fisheye is a fun lens and not practical for most situations

Good comparison David the Fish eye seems to have a lot more noise than the Sigma

Great to see what different lens can do to the picture. I love the fishy but on this picture I like a 10mm better. As you said not all subject suit a fisheye lens.
