Description

On the evening of the 3rd December 1926, 36 year old Agatha Christie disappeared from her home and went missing - leaving her car abandoned on the edge of a cliff. No one knew where she was and there was great speculation in the press 'The Disappearance of a Famous Woman Novelist' and a huge manhunt took place, with some people fearing the worst. However, 11 days later she was identified as a guest at the Swan Hydropathic Hotel in Harrogate, Yorkshire, registered as Mrs Teresa Neele and having travelled by train from London, probably on the LNER. Christie never gave an account of her disappearance. Doctors diagnosed her as suffering from amnesia but opinions still vary as to the reasons for her disappearance. One suggestion is that she had argued with her husband, having discovered he was having a affair with another woman... also called 'Neele'. Agatha Christe took the truth with her to her grave - perhaps her greatest mystery of all. Produced in Daz|Studio and Photoshop. All props from Renderosity and Daz. Excellent scene. The look of anticipation is on her face and in her gesture. I wonder what's in the box that she's clutching so dearly to her bussom? Love the way that you added your little space traveler so subtley into the image.

"Life's a journey" comes to my mind, looking at your latest image. I like the subtile composition of light and shadow in particular. Good to know, you're back.

Great lighting and colouring. You have achieved the sense of speed here too with how you have done the view through the window. Excellent work.

This scene, is somehow reminiscent of several movies, but IMO more like something from the 'HARRY POTTER' series, books & movies ! BB

I can see why it's a personal fave. The lighting is perhaps the most powerful part, but look beyond that and it's a real snapshot in time, well balanced and most importantly realistic. At times I find it hard to believe that you are using DAZ/Rendo props. It's Wonderful art - I'm very much looking forward to seeing your "new direction" without a doubt.

I'm always delighted to view your images...this one is a masterpiece : at first look it seems to be simple, but it's actually not ; many details to discover and the opportunity to invent a story : where is she going ? Where does she come from ? Everything is perfect.

I suddenly doubt it again, Tony - too much reciprocal favouritising going on again for me! It's running into hundreds a week with some people and making a mockery of the charts. No wonder they are despised by so many people here. Which is a great shame. They could be a showcase!
