Description

The third planet of the Upsilon Andromedae system orbits in the star's habitable zone. It's a giant gazeous one, bigger than Jupiter and is unable to carry life (as we have here on Earth). But, as Saturn with Titan, one of its satellites may carry an atmosphere and why not also life ? This view, taken from some rocky moon, shows something so promising... The little red light on top right of the image is the second star of the system, a red dwarf distant from 750 AU to the main white one, UpsAnd-A. Rendered with Vue 6 Infinite. Postwork with Photoshop.
