It is nice to have the opportunity to get that close to deer. Years ago, walking through the meadow, in Balloch Country park, on the banks of Loch Lomond, my daughter and I stumbled across a fawn, whose mother had left it in the long grass next to some tall bushes. As usual, I did not have my camera with me that day... ;o) Warm regards, my friend, John.
