Description
I just had to take a picture of these, seemingly random, posts driven into the river bed near the bank.
Presumably, they were part of a some bank protection work but, judging by the moss, they have been there some time and don't appear to have been overly successful. :-)
They do, however, make for quite a pleasant image.

Randomness is often seen in nature, but here it is in something that is man made. I liked this as soon as I saw it.
