Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Twilight Zone music fades in...fades out... Very imaginative:) I really like the little spinning top just above the trees. I'm not so sure about glare. You'd better not allow yourself to be, "alone in the dark".

"Verrrrryyyyyyy Interesting" (said in my best Arte Johnson as the german soldier voice) I'm with Bill, don't go out alone, or if you really have to, consider wearing a tin foil hat... : )

No ET or supernatural situation here. Unless the glare popped up on every shot I would blame this one on the eccentricities or optional features of the camera. And may I offer a quote to the unbeliever's: It is human nature to make fun of what one is ignorant about.

Interesting how things surprisingly turns out... Aloha

I know I'm out of it, but tin foil hats do 'what'? Did I miss something? Maybe it's from the old 50s sci fi films, so they protect you from cosmic rays, lol? (Now if you followed up with a pic of you in a tinfoil hat, that would be great.) Anyway, I hope that's glare, otherwise that moon has some serious issues. And I agree with Bill: I don't think you have to worry about that moon, I think you need to worry about that weird flying-saucer-like thingy beneath it: What in the world is that thing! I've known some extra-terrestrials in my day, and trust me that doesn't look friendly. You got a family of 4 from Neptune hangin' out in your trees. (I know it's probably just flare, but it's amazingly lifelike...) Great shot. It'd be great if that little flare said, "hey Marilyn! How's it goin?"
