Description
A slight return to my Project Warrior saga with a simple portrait of Warrior himself, Garrett Grey. Again, this is one of those images that just got in my head and wouldn’t go away till I put it down on paper…err.. Pixels. One of the things I wanted to highlight in this portrait aside from Garrett himself was the Omega symbol on the katana here from Luthbel’s Omega Huntress set. It seemed fitting to acknowledge the organization Garrett is affiliated with, Omega Sector, the so called “Last Line of Defense.” From the first time I saw it, I wanted Garrett to wield it somehow. Although the way the weapons in that set (and others) were done, it makes posing them a pain! Here I rendered it separately and joined the image with the portrait of Garrett in Paint Shop Pro

This is an absolutely fantastic portrait of Garrett!! I love the light and shadows on him and the spark in his eye is just...icing on the cake. The sword....WOW!!!! The textures and reflections on that are just STUNNING!! Fantastic work and I'm SO glad you opted to share it!

Instant thought... the guy is at a store trying to purchase the sword. He frowns at the price tag... Will he steal it? Maybe in the next upload. Lighting on opposite sides of the images really gives this a different feel.
