Description
You will note fine people that I'm listing this under DAZ Studios. There is a reason for this, I was informed that even though this is a photograph, BECAUSE I have a rendered image in it, it must be placed either in mixed medium (no thank you) or DAZ Studios. Well as you can see, mouse and dragonfly, being DAZ characters, I've obviously listed this fine photo, albeit slightly modified with these two rendered characters, under DAZ Studios.
This photo, sans creatures, was taken the same day as the other photos, rippling waters 1 & 2 and I got one, We are, of course, jumping around like mad people because I just want to. Normally I'd be so sequential it would be painfully obvious. so bear with me and we will be on track, eventually, I hope!

By the way, the title, while may seem obvious, even to the most causal observer, is actually the result of listening to a very nice song by the group, Heart. Can anyone name that song?

I ran into the same thing, was told that images in my fractals made them either 2D or mixed media. I usually go with mixed media. Apparently if the image appears more important the fractal, it's no longer a fractal image. I just post 'em as mixed media if I add nonfractal stuff. Who knows what a degree of importance one takes over the other.

I just told you why I was starting tonight with April 16th...and then I skip all the way back to March of 2009! Well, I feel I should pay homage to some earlier work (2009 feels like the 16th Century!). And I've seen this before, and Ioved it then and love it now. (Yes, I've seen your work for a long time!) The shot, along with a few other long perspective shots from this time, is wonderful. Love the lines, and the big vertical pipe or pillar (whatever that thing is) giving a vertical balance to this shot (along with the telephone poles and light poles). And the textures. But the added mouse and d.fly are a riot. In part because the d.fly looks like it's either about to pounce on the poor mouse, or it's hovering over it in protection. A really fun addition. But the shot itself is really fine. I'm gonna do a few more from back here, while I'm here. I mean, I had to travel all the way back here, so I might as well leave a few comments while I'm in town. (I always like rummaging around in back-galleries---I expect to find a few skeletons, some old magazines, a few empty pizza boxes, and maybe a guard who passed away from the dearth of foot traffic...and it's so quiet back here, in the basement...)
