David, this is a great POV! The renders are always superb!

Bambam, I’ve been following your work here for a while and I must say that I’ve enjoyed it immensely. I sincerely suggest that you follow your heart and do what you enjoy doing best regardless of opposition. You do what you do so well that I’m of the opinion that no matter what you decide to undertake will be done in the same artfully meticulous and inspirational way. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us and I’ll be looking forward to your next piece regardless of what it might be. Quest

The work you do is great and keep it up. I started out on bryce and modeling is a lot harder to create what you wish on bryce than other modeling programs.I use Maya, 3d Max, Vue, poser, autocad which make modeling easier and quicker. To create in Bryce takes more time and thought into creating a model. No matter what software any modeler uses there is a great degree of imagination and artistic talent required, and you certainly encompass all of this in the work you display.

At least for me, you are a master of modelling. More than that, your works are always impresive, amazing images, and not only for the modelling work, but also for the way you present them. That never-end discussion about what is and what is not real modelling, have no sense to me. So, I hope to see more from you soon.

Stunning work! I have never seen a work of you before, and I hope this is not the last, whatever you are doing.

Excellent view of a fantastic model! Keep on doing exactly what you're doing, and ignore the critics (well, unless they have something constructive to say).

great work, there arer allways people that try to lame you, we call them lamers if you let them rule your life you cant do a thing, I think your work is unique and you should continue the way you want, if you like to pleas thelamers you might now and again slip in a boleaned naked vicky with sword in a temple ;)

I have always been amazed at the immense patience your work displays and look forward to the notification from Renderosity that you have posted another work. I work mainly with POV-Ray, which has more primitives available but still places limitations on what can be done. The detail and design that goes into your models has often been a source of inspiration to me. You are a skilled craftsman, engineer and artist. Nil bastardes carborundum.

Very good scene! Really cool model. I'd like to see more. If this is your passion, you should follow it, and frak the vocal minority.

Bryce IS a modeller! Anyone who thinks different can meet me behind the bike sheds for a good slap! You keep doing what you do, David! You're just too damn good at it!

Any program that create 3D geometry is a modeler program. I faced some of the same program snobbery when I was using TrueSpace. Don't let such criticism get to you. Many of those folks are probably just jealous of how much you have been able to accomplish with Bryce. You are a tremendous artist and great 3D modeler! All your images are breath-taking in their detail. After years of doing my own 3D CGI stuff, I find myself doing more rework of my favorite existing designs instead of always trying to make up something new. Yet, I still find it very satisfying to keep refining those designs I most resonate with; those that most clearly express my vision of future spaceflight. I hope you continue to do the same with your designs.

It's a neat model and you have done excellent work on it :) I show mine over and over as well lol. :)

Fantastic. Love the POV. Excellent work as usual. :)

I hope You Stay......You King of Bryce....!!!

Keep doing what you love to do, this is excellent modelling!

...there are way too many bitchy butt heads that are allowed to post nasty comments-flames-to anyone on 'rosity, let alone one of the great artists-master crafters such as your self. When some with your talent is chased off for any reason, to me it means that the administraters-moderaters are NOT doing the job they are paid to do...sad, 'specialy when I've followed your work for over 8 years...some of the best examples, and to me tutorials, I've seen since a publication back in the '90's called 'Interactivity'...hope you stay and do more outstanding work...

An excellent model and wonderful lighting. You have captured wee the remoteness of the solar system. A great use of Bryce!
Turin_Returns
Yes...well. Methinks you are a little bit touchy. Many artists want to see their fellows expand and try out new things and new techniques. You cannot resent them for doing so. I have seen some change and development in your work - a tighter control of lighting particularly, but I must admit that I would like to see more texturing on the surfaces of the models. I feel that art must grow. If it stagnates it becomes a thing of resentment and bitterness in the eyes of its creator, rather than an expression of vision. If people are asking you to do other subject matter then perhaps they are not too familiar with your work. As for this piece - the lighting is just right. The lack of texturing does make it look like plastic, rather than a functional space craft that has just flown some 744,000,000 miles.

Bro, you are a master of bryce, a modeller bar none in mine and many others eyes, what you do in a programme that is used for landscapes and placing poser characters in to create a scene, you take it to a level that the developers should for once and for all look at and give the tools requires to allow models to be exported in.3ds at least. Truly you gave me inspiration, my mind races when i see your work, without it, i and many would be nothing...you keep em coming, they are just the best!
