Description


Walking around some of the older properties the other day I found an old boot that may have been used to protect the young tree from the barb wire, for whatever reason it was used the tree expanded over the years and the boot has now become part of the tree, quite humorous I thought.

Excellent picture. It's amazing how trees grow to engulf objects. We had a small tree-lined avenue that ran to the river near me that was re-routed when they built a large hotel. One of the trees that was felled to make way for the building was found to contain an axe head. Bet that made the chain-saw jump. :-)
