Description

This is a test render of the ladies taking out JHoaglands Apache for a spin. I plant to use this in some action scenes so I thought I'd see what I can do. Your comments are welcome.

Good job, in general. You gotta be careful on those high oblique shots, though... It almost looks like they're heading rapidly downward (which I would believe if Cricket were piloting the thing). Still... It captures the motion of the chopper pretty well, and the 3D is working well for having the girls look like they're actually inside the thing (I hate doing 2D work that ends up looking like people inside cars are plastered right up against the window).

Thnx for the input Wolfson. I agree with the angle, but with Cricket doing the flying it is exactly what I'm going for. I'm not really happy with the cockpit though. The action filter I used brightened it up too much. I may have to add a block of color and then do a soft light overlay on that block to bring the brightness down on the cockpit. I actually placed the girls inside the chopper rather than do a cut and paste. What I really needed to pull this thing off is a helmet that helicopter pilot wear. Did a search but couldnt find one. If anyone knows where I can get one, please email me. Again, thnx for looking.

You thought you see what you could do?????? Well first of all get both of them safely on the ground I guess LOL Never a clever move to get the stars of the series in this kind of danger. The scene looks really great, excellent movement in this shot.

Excellent work. I use to fly an ultralight (until I got a mortgage). It was fantastic. "A safe landing is one that you can walk a way from. A good landing is one that they can use the aircraft again." LOL.
