And them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye. Singin this will be the day that I die.

I took this one while visiting family in California. I can't tell you how much fun I had with my sister and then later my brother going back to places we visited as kids and taking photos, I will try to share more of them with you all. My brother took me to this one area and we found this house with an obviously very eccentric owner everything to a front gate covered in old California license plates to an old building in his yard and the trees as well were covered in the old Yellow Tonka truck, the ones we all played with or our kids played with he must have had thousands of them out there, it was amazing my brother knew the owner and said he worked for one of the movies studios, and collected items from sets he worked on, no doubt. He wanted to take me and introduce me to him,but he said we would never get out of there LOL.

Thanks for the comments on the card for the birthday boy, judging from his comment I think he liked it, of course he did site mail me about a comment I made to Harrys (goodoleboy) card to him, something about a lawyer, hey Mark I don't scare that easy LOL but good try.

(awright, I'll forego the lawyer, but we have ways to make you talk...) Full-resolution is a must, this is a wonderful shot, the details are terrific, the coloration ditto, and your lighting & stunning clarity & composition, also terrific. I love the striations and breakdowns of the paint on the surface of this old creature, your detail on the plants growing around & behind it is scintillating, and the close composition, the angle and how it 'leans' into us is the best. A really fine shot, your sensibilities at their best, and I'd love to stand next to one of these in no small part because of your capture of it. Terrific work, Lynell. It's a visual knock-out.
