Description

This was taken at the zoo in Vienna. I enjoyed the direction of the sun making the Pelican's bill translucent.

Serendipity at work. All the elements came together. Most important--the photographer's eye. Then being at the right place at the right time with the perfect lighting resulted in a superb shot.
