Description

We very rarely keep one of these fish but every once in awhile we cant resist they taste wonderful. Its amazing that even with a broken wrist Steve manages to fight and catch one.

They ARE a spendid fish... I caught many on Tongue Point - Astoria Oregon while stationed there in the Coast Guard. They are in my opinion, the best tasting fish around, with so many different ways to prepare them. Least of which is to put them on the BBQ basted in a lemon pepper seasoning, and butter. Excellent capture not only of the fish, but the photo showing the one that didn't get away... ;-D

Our population of sturgeon is dwindling so much that very few meet the size limit. I love the taste but I have yet to bring one in that was considered a keeper. A big congrats on this catch.
