ANGUSTIA
Aúllan sin cesar las lágrimas en el alma;
cerrando el aire con sus trofeos de pena,
mientras se van por la vida sueños alegres,
preparando el cortejo de neblinas grises.
Las lágrimas levantan su vuelo y aumentan
como heridas palomas que la tarde sostiene,
y oyéndolas, suspende su latido perenne
el corazón que sufre sabiendo lo que viene.
Ella queda en el balcón de su antiguo mundo,
en su atalaya de flores, música, y gentes.
El dolor le ata un nudo de reprimido llanto.
en su garganta cristalina de límpida fuente.
Esperan del otro lado, tenaces y hambrientos,
impacientes en cuclillas, negros y solemnes,
entonando un sonido lúgubre cortándole el alma
como buitres e hienas, los dioses del olvido.
