Thank you all for the lovely comments! Prutzworks - I know it seems a bit on a bumpy side, but this is exactly what I was aiming for - not much snow, with dirt, rocks and ground showing through, as bumpy as glacial terrain usually is. I might do the "snowy wonderland"-landscape, though, with this same terrain. Thanks for the suggestion!
