Bravo Linda....tranquil scene and moving words. I can really relate to your verse. I especially like the line ...."The real world seeks the fit" It seems af if the "real" world always is seeking the fit...perhaps on many different levels. The image and the verse lend themsleves nicely to pondering whatever we choose to. This time I think of the lonely malcontent..trapped in this time....alone. afraid, and miserable. A person perhaps from the distant future or maybe even the distant past, stranded in a time where little he/she does makes sense to others....and little they do makes sense to him/her.....Thanks for sharing and I see the flower is still thriving. Keep up the great work!!!!!

I love the texture on the surface of that pathway. The reflections make me think it might be slippery, and yet it looks quite solid and safe. An interesting conundrum. I love the idea of the water rising ... you could walk across there as if on top of the water. :)
