From Wikipedia: The Big or Our Lady is the most important monument of Breda. It also is the biggest church of Breda. Therefor, the church is the landmark of Breda. The tower of the church, with its 97 meter high already well visible, on some days to climb. Above is a beautiful view over the Grand Place and the city. The building is paid to visit and anno 2008 mainly used for concerts, courses, symposia, exhibitions, fashion shows, school tours, exhibitions and a restaurant. There are still little church held. There are still baptisms, marriage celebrations, memorial services and funeral service held. Both its construction and its location is the church to the best of the Netherlands included. As an example of the Brabant Gothic it is the most cool and elegant, although slightly less well known than St. John's Cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch. The church is among the Top 100 of Dutch UNESCO monuments. This photograph shows both the church as well as the Catharinastraat (front) and the Reigerstraat (back ground)
