My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

That's what I call "extreme close-up"... :) Interesting metal/glass artwork, and I have to admit -- I prefer this one to a real. Beautiful capture!!!

I'm a bug guy and this picture gives me a good, long-deserved giggle. I love the colors and the sense of whimsy. The glasswork is stunningly gorgeous and you've captured it perfectly. Needless to say, it's a favorite.

a really classic shot of this glass fly. I'm with Chip—a fav. you got what I assume are reflections in the glass beads, and some terrific shadows. Did you ever draw/paint insects? I did, by capturing them in jars. (I threw in some HBO and few magazines...) It's creepy at first, but then after awhile it's like drawing a science fiction creature. (Then it gets creepy again...there's just no getting around it, they are not good looking creatures...) A really fine shot Tara, this is definitely one for the fav columns...

Flies are terrible, but work is ok.
