Description

Morning all :o) A friend I`ve made at the camera club (the vice chairman) is trying to encourage me to go to college to study photography .I am tempted but I dont want to lose the fun side of taking pics and becoming more serious .I have a thirst for knowledge though so I may consider this . I am now just over a month smoke free and feeling great about myself and my achievement considering how long and how many fags I smoked :o)..Some of you have asked about Ashleigh and I can tell you she is doing well .At the moment her homework ,horse riding and swimming is taking all her time at the moment .She has taken a few pics and now that she has her own laptop will probably post some soon . Thanks for the update about Ashleigh; I thought she was probably pretty busy with the things girls do!! With all you've had on your plate lately, a month smoke free is HUGE--way to go, my friend!! Gorgeous shot, BTW!!

Hello Mick firstly your capture is incredible love the colour and congrats on being smoke free that is a great achievment well done i know what you mean about loosing the fun out of your hobby i toyed with the idea to try and improove my art so i kind of know how you feel but i have improoved loads and glad i have took the plunge so to speak so perhaps give it a try if you dont like it dont go have a great day Mick hugs lou x

What an exciting idea! Like Bossie Boots says you can give it a go, I should think you would love it! And as for the not smoking....WONDERFUL! What a fantastic achievement! As regards Ashleigh, physical activity is probably doing her far more good than photography! Great macro, by the way!

I wish I had the opportunity to take the classes offered in photography here but they require a certain level of software before you can even register and the cost of the software is almost equal to one month's mortgage payment for me. Besides, I'm not sure when I'd have time to attend classes. It would be a dream. Knowing how to take great shots doesn't mean you have to get serious about it though...it just means you can take better shots. Go for it! I do love this macro. Wonderfully focused and composed.
