Description

Inbetween comic chapters I thought I would try something different for me... and it helped me get over the breakup with my girfriend... This is a test to see if I could come up with some realistic textures for a Knight of the Ring Kichard period (a shroe, a shroe, my dingkom for a shroe)... yeah... moving along.... I used the Lourdes M3 Norman and ArtFantasy's helmet plus the DAZ Starter pack sword. The chain mail is from two photos of mail that I found on tintenet, which I tiled and applied to textures maps I created in UVMapper. (The sleeves, hood and leggings have different patterns of mail). The tunic has a rough-hewn material, again from a swatch sourced online. The leather for the boots, gloves and belt are again from the internerd. The tabbard is a modified texture from Tabbycat's set. The sword has the original textures, but I added reflection to the mix in Bryce, and the helmet have had textures created in the Bryce texture editor. What do you think? Iain

Nice one. I'm slowly doing the textures from Monty Python & The Holy Grail for Lourdes' M3 Norman costume. Some of them are tricky to get a good look at though and that's with the DVD.
