Description

The Bishonen allows me to do a more "feminine" male character and stay in my style :) I have to say I was much inspired by similar male characters on deviantART by very talented artists. I had finally found a way of rendering male characters and keep the "fluff" lol For those who don't know what a bishonen is, here is part of the Wikipedia definition: The term describes an aesthetic that can be found in disparate areas in Asia: a young man whose beauty (and sexual appeal) transcends the boundary of sexual orientation. It has always shown the strongest manifestation in Japanese pop culture, gaining in popularity due to the androgynous glam rock bands of the 1970s, but it has roots in ancient Japanese literature, the homosocial and homoerotic ideals of the medieval Chinese imperial court and intellectuals, and Indian aesthetic concepts carried over from Hinduism, imported with Buddhism to China. Today, bishōnen are very popular among girls and women in Japan. Reasons for this social phenomenon may include the unique male and female social relationships found within the genre. Some have theorized that bishōnen provide a non-traditional outlet for gender relations. Moreover, it breaks down stereotypes surrounding feminine male characters. These are often depicted with very strong martial arts abilities, sports talent, high intelligence, or comedic flair, traits that are usually assigned to the hero/protagonist. Character, hair, skirt and background were rendered in Poser and I did a lot of postwork in Photoshop to both the skirt and character :) And of course I added my strand of hair in the wind lol Credits: The M4 morph is by outoftouch and Bice from Topmodel Kit3 by outoftouch, Bice and Ilona. Thank you for the gift :) Except for the strand of hair, the hair is Aether hair by plus3d, Mairy and 3Dream and I have to say I was impressed of what I could do with it and choose the style I was looking for. Quelle prestance, quelle allure et effectivement, un charme troublant pour ce personnage superbement modélisé et retravaillé par tes talents sur PSP. Le commentaire est aussi très intéressant. L'androgyne est représenté dans toutes les cultures, avec plus ou moins de statut de reconnaissance. Ces êtres au milieu des pôles masculin et féminin nous rappellent que le 'vrai' homme ou la 'vraie' femme sont des 'constructions sociales' et non la réalité physiologique et psychologique des sexes.Tonton Freud l'avait dit !!!....En tout cas, c'est éblouissant de beauté artistique, Louise.
