Description

View from the top of Cherokee Rock Village aka Sand Rock in Cherokee county, AL. The quartz and sandstone formations rise about 600 feet on Shinbone Ridge which is about 1500+ feet over the valley.

Gorgeous glimpse into such a beautiful and serene atmosphere and landscape! Seems so peaceful... what a wonderful escape! Great capture of mood as well, the lighting certainly sets a lovely tone!

I think I really liked the lawn chairs set up by campers to watch the view at sunrise....it added to the composition. It is an unbelievably beautiful place.
