Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time.  I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Wonderful image, Helle. Those who don't have the benefit of really wonderful earthquake planning and building codes are so vulnerable. I have been fortunate to live where earthquakes are a common event, and our quake standards have provided more safety than in other parts of the world, where devastation and loss of life are tragic. You point out a problem as a result of your dedication.

You have captured the feeling very well here. We have quite a lot of earthquakes here but thank goodness 95% of them are small, but everyone felt sends a shiver up the spine.

It is so beautiful would like a carpet like this in my living room

I love Hanna's comment—would like a carpet like this...Yes, it depicts a tragic event (which effects countless people across the world), yet you made beauty out of it. Re earthquakes: It looks like a big stone building fallen on its side, with a tree next to it (on top of the building, in the picture), and it's cracking right to the roof. And the dark clouds & reds (passion, alarm) are like the terror of the earthquake. Powerful, dark & rupturing. And yet...as a sheer work of art, it's beautiful. It would make a beautiful carpet or wall hanging. Also, that building looks Middle Eastern, like it's from Jerusalem; but it could also be a slab of stone. Fine work, Helle.

Oh, this is WAY too familiar--the cracks, the fractures, I know it all too well. Just the other night we had a little shake.
