So long ago Traveled at night Walked among the grounds Grass so sweet with dew Just to feel the cold out bright Wondering which was mine The presence of a package A wish of a given star Whispered among the winds Tippy toes printed Marks left behind I wondered at times How so far away Could shine upon my eyes A teardrop for each thought Melts a little bit of warmness Closer to the night sky How the hair blows And the eyes search Maybe blow away But remains to remember How the night air Makes mountains strong And what I see and feel When near can be so what is the word That looks forward in the mind As eyes look and hands think Life is a mystery As night looks upon Shadows in the mist Wonder who it is Gone and left behind ©27-Mar-09 LKS/Faroutsider :-):-):-):-):-):-):-) A few months ago I asked Craig (Faroutsider) if he would not mind doing an image for me words I had forgotten all about it and now here it is with a smile and a laugh Click here to see the other image Craig did for my words in his gallery. thank you Craig and thank you all for the support and the views have a wonderful weekend nice day for a smile

I love this scene and your poetry. I love all your work but this is exceptional...Brilliant capture of the moon's light on your pretty terrain. Wonderful sense of atmosphere....
