I remember driving through upstate NY years back, in the winter too; and I remember sights like this often. There's a nice sweep to the "hammock-like" snow; and the light—diffuse, as winter light is—graces everything quietly; and there's a reddish flare or undertone, which is nice counterpoint; and I love that little red thing (a sign, a signpost, whatever it is sticking up out of the snow). Very nice capture of winter in the country. And it's soft enough to feel like a dream...
