Description

The last images I shot of her that afternoon were the bareback shots. Unfortunately my hand was far from steady in the lowering light. Most of the shots suffered from camera shake or motion blur. ...sigh...... Still, there had to be something I could do to salvage these images..... The image is the end result of a Saturday morning spent listening to Weekend Edition on NPR and trying successive effects and filters. Cloned out her costume to extend the exposed skin. Blurred over the new skin with "Blur" and "Motion Blur". Built a frame around it with sampled colors. Reduced the color depth to give her a poster look. Finally altered the color balance and saturation to give it the current terracotta look. But now "Car Talk" is on and it's time to go do something else. Have a nice weekend!

This is excellent work. The effects of camera shake and your post work created a beautiful image.

You're cleverness never ceases to amaze!!! Excellent recovery from what was probably a very disappointing outcome of the shoot. You're the one guy I know that always makes lemonade out of lemons!!! Great job!!!
