Description

This photo was taken last Thursday and it is the last one I took of this fine, proud bird before he decided I was too close for his comfort. I was about 25 feet from the tree he was in and about35 feet from where he was perched (the tree was downhill from me) the nice thing about the Canon Powershot is that it has a 4x Optical zoom as well as the digital zoom. this allowed me to get the closeup without the digital blocks that you'd see when using digital zoom. On another note, I've rewritten the dialogue for Processing data about 8 times and I'm still not happy with it, yet It will go up soon Thanks for all the wonderful coments and faves on my last sevearl postings. Regarding my safety when shooting supports, While the trestle is very old, it is very well-made and I was in no danger while shooting (I was about 25 feet below that bridge) Have a great weekend all and yes, I did download the new GIRL. Do you know, I saw one almost exactly like this located in a tree almost exactly like this one last week? I was much further away than 25 feet, though, so my attempts to get a photo didn't give much evidence. He stayed for a really long time, though; I saw him still there when I drove home after, since the tree was closer to the road than the walking path. Nice shot!

wonderful find here!!!! I have three or four Hawks that I have heard chattin with each other every afternoon........One of them was playin in my front yard the other night!!! Wish I could get a shot of them like you have captured this fine Eagle!!!!! ' Thanks for sharing!!!! ♥Tina♥
