Description

You see a summit view, plain and simple; kind of barren with lack of vegetation. Just a few juvenile pines and mountain grass. This is a place to sit and contemplate about how the next image will be composed. A procedural terrain (foreground) combined with a DEM terrain (far distant). The Cumulus Humilis clouds generated using FrankB’s cloud pack and stone bed files; the pinus nigra (black pine) file by lighting was also used here. Again, I experienced not being able to create populations of vegetation on the foreground (only on distant terrain) here using the painter shader. I had to resort to using individual objects. Enjoy… Bob

Wow; you are gaining total mastery of the "majestic" sky, as evidenced here Bob. I think more vegetation or objects would rob the scene of the its pristine mood and feeling of scale. Excellent mood here.

Robert, all I can say about this picture is that you really captured not only the feel of, the total essence of high desert. Into my WIHD folder. I can just see me campsite right over there and the mule is browsing on one of the bushes. Excellent.
