After the man-made Plague of 2154 AD, the humans' city lies uninhabited, a lonely monument to their greed and folly.
Heightfield,masks,created in The Gimp;converted to Terragen file with World Machine;Terragen render;textures created with Genetica 3.

don't you know the mayan's say the world as we know it ends 2012, in December... they even have the day listed... which I forgot - lol... I can't wait til that year is over - lol 1999 we were suppose to end too - the planets were going to align (which they did) and it was suppose to create such a gravitational pull that the Earth was to be ripped apart.... now, you're predicting 2154 - your great, great, great grand children will be watching this date, that is if we make it to there... I don't see it, because man won't shut down the polution that cars are creating... plus, I think some idiot will clone a dinosaur and we will get some plague from that that we won't know how to handle - polution or the cloning of Dinos is how I see us dieing as a race.

Funny that in such a sterile looking environment there could be any bacteria living there. Have to wonder what'll live there now that the people are gone... Oh, the Mayans didn't predict the end of the world, they just stopped writing their calendar. Excellent work on this cityscape and the story is very cool.
