Description
Cold, swift, beautiful and deadly.
She can be warm gold, cool silver and every shade and hue between.
A true Mistress of her element she is both treasured and feared.
Ages of man have been named for her - Bronze, Copper and Iron. And mortals have strove for ages in alchemic methods to turn lead into precious gold.
Her treasures have been hoarded, cursed, hidden, buried, stolen and killed for. More blood has been spilt in the pursuit of her honours than any other Element for the treasures she may hold.
Kingdoms have been claimed in the name of her treasures, and lives have ended at the end of the same.
Empires have been forged and lost in her name - the Riddle of Steel at the heart of most conflicts of men.
She is malleable, changing, shifting. An Element of both genders she encompasses both the male and female essences in her grasp. Silver the feminine wrapped in the gold of the male.
She is sensual, seductive, sought after and cast away.
She is the formulator of Greed, Death and Material Want.
She is Metal and she is cold as steel.

Part five in a four part series (pun intended) representing the catalytic elements of life - Earth, Wind, Fire, Water and Metal. Each a Goddess in her own right, as my gallery nears the milestone of 200 images.
Then, as promised, my Knights will be returning with a new leader at their helm....and new conflicts to overcome.
Now I need to get my rear in gear and work on ye ole number 200!

A very striking goddess indeed, and truly one of the most precious of elementals! Fantastic character, love the blade like wings and metallic hues throughout, but for me the lighting is what makes this image. As well it should. Is not the luster of gold and the gleam of steel that captures our attention? Brilliantly done, my love!
