Description
What happened was: In the first version of this, I'd used Bryce's "New Age Whale" water mat, it's one of my faves for showing underwater details, but doesn't lend to the feel of water movement easily; yeah, tweak-tweak-tweak, but gotta know when to quit sometimes, especially as this is a 11:48:17 render in Bryce :P

We've had a freeze here inthe F - M area. It's had the effect of stopping the melt off into the Red River; which has slowed river rising on one hand, but we're slated to get hit by a blizzard Mon & Tues which we don't need before warm up occurs, particularily down river (South of us)

Awesome image! Personally prefer the water in the original image. Keep playing with some more water mats...love to see more experimentation.

I am cautiously optimistic about the news reported here...It sounds good but I'd be an idiot to say I'm not still worried....still praying for the best....(Point 1)Wow...Agreed....Render times suck (especially long ones)....(point 2)Letting go of something you love is always hard....Heck I can't ever seem to do it.....The water looks alluring, nice job...(point 3)Everything is reworkable....In fact....Most... if not all of the paintings by the "old masters" have been "retouched" by younger hands.....Makes you wonder what the paintings looked like straight off the easel so to speak....I laugh but really cry to think that a "DaVinci " today (not even painted by Da Vinci) without all its age, prestige and history could go for next to nothing in today's world....Art is an illusion...people are more real....I'll put my money on the people every time.....Be safe...sorry I always talk too much.....thanks for sharing your excellent work...Semper Fi...
