Description
here is the pelican photo that was published in a magazine called canadian wildlife..I entered into a contest and won photo of the month with this photo. Also its one of my favorite pelican shots. This was taken in lockport manitoba. Not that far from winnipeg. A 30 minute or so drive from where I am.

Fine shot. When I think of Pelicans, I think of Florida. I never realized you have them near where you live. My wife and I spent a week in Winnipeg in the mid 80s at a convention. We travelled all over the city visiting the ethnic displays, eating their delicious food, watching their dances and buying their goods designed for us visitors:) Good memories.
