Description

At 10:39 a. m. on the 27 of May 1941 the Kriegsmarine battleship Bismarck went under the waves by the stern. Shortly before that the County class cruiser HMS Dorsetshire had launched three 21 inch torpedoes at short range. Bismarck rests the ocean floor, in an upright orientation, at a depth of approximately 4,791 m (15,700 ft) about 650 kilometers west of Brest France. The ships hull cocks and scuttling charges indicate that she was scuttled by the crew. The ships hull was probably seaworthy enough to have lasted one more day, insufficient time to make it to a port in occupied France. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. the movie "Casualtys of War" really messed me up when it comes to war movies... there was a lady raped and it just was horrible... Now the new Rambo movie - that was awesome.... Your boat sinking and exploding - excellent work. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

Well.. I give you credit for trying...First this 3D stuff is a 2nd hobby for me.. My first love is ship modelling...My specilty is the german navy in WWI and WWII.. You show alot of elements in this shot..Nice prospective from the floatplane point of view.. Dorsetshire didnt move in that close till after bismarck had rolled over and gone down.. KG5 never was that close in ..The bismarck model doesnt let you train her turrets? Her main gun houses were at diffrent angles and the guns at diffrent trains when they were knocked out of action. She was burning from stem to stern...She had a huge wound midships port side from the heavy shells from KG5 and Rodney.. She did sink from the stern but rolled over on the surface.. Her seacocks were opened and hurried her on her way but theres no way she would of lasted more than a few more hours at best.. I would use this model of Bimarck with photoshop to get a more acurate render of her going down... nice try though..

Well, I agree totally with prinzeugen12. No British ship was very happy about getting TOO close to Bismark.... But that said. This is a fine, very well put together action render! Great work overall. Nice one! Rob.
