another of your oh-so sensitive and finely modulated landscapes, with a mix of very rich detail, lots of dappled light & shade, and yet a softness that brings it all together. You always get that mix, and it results in shimmering & quieting visions of nature. Your background trees have an almost oriental design (where, in Chinese silk painting, trees are often stylized into horizontal lines for branches, leaves, etc); and the animals are placed sensitively, as are those beautiful violet-colored bushes/trees, etc. I always appreciate the great detail you achieve, while still keeping a sense of overall wholeness. Another fine work from you, and a fav. (I've been away for a bit, sorry I'm getting back her so late!)
