Description

This was taken yesterday, Monday, at 2pm about 20 minutes after snowfall started. Forecasted to be a 3 day blizzard, our 6th one this month, with up to 18 inches new snowfall. There's 2 bright spots; NO wind & the Red River is dropping. Currently at 36.56 feet. Flood stage is 18 feet, emergency dikes & levees are at 42 - 43 feet. However, it's supposed to hit the 40's next week, producing additional melt obviously, and as of the 11 am newscast today, heavy 40mph winds expected later today into tonight. On a personal note, I've got minor seepage into my basement, if it floods, this, or the next few designs, could be my last post. As I can't afford a new system if my studio floods. Oh, the specks in the picture are snowflakes, NOT a dirty lens. :) Thanks everyone for comments, well wishes & support. Semper Fi ~SAZ~

I think I am more concerned about your personal safety than your computer...lol....but I understand and sympathize with your concerns of course....With any luck it will be a moot point anyway....You have no one to help you move your important possessions in case of emergency? There must be someone....I'm afraid I can't do much but let me know if I can be of assistance...making calls or whatever....Very nice picture!!! I love snow but not when it poses a great danger....Thank you for the update and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you...Are you sure it's not just a dirty lens???? You know I'm kidding ...<>. I hope that no further damage is caused to you or your home...take care of yourself!!!! Rob PS If you cannot post than feel free to call me on the telephone...Just to say you are all right...Please...God bless!

Hope you get your system to higher grounds! I do believe that the current weather cycles of the past few years are here to stay with us for a loooong, long time to come. Good luck, Buddy!

I'm in GF and feel for all of you down there. I have many friends who are sleeping with one eye open and one ear on the pumps. Wishing you all the best and we'll keep holding our breath and praying. :)
