Description
A test render for BluesDragon's Stardome prop. The planet is a primitive sphere with a texture of Venus from NASA's resource site (http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/index.html).

Nice, how did you get the ship to glow?

Interesting render and lovey background figters! Are they from Space Above & Beyond! I have this great ship too and I've used in my picture named "Ice Planet"... :)

Very good sci-fi scene and POV.

Great looking sci-fi picture! Your ship models are very well made, and thanks for the tip on how to make a realistic looking planet prop.

Thanks, all! The engine glow - as well the atmosphere around the planet - is postwork, so there's no trick. Too bad this is the final version, Rob :) I was testing the BluesDragon's free stardome for him/her and just threw this quickly together. The fighters are just something I once made using Davorama's FVCS.
