Thanks, all! The engine glow - as well the atmosphere around the planet - is postwork, so there's no trick. Too bad this is the final version, Rob :) I was testing the BluesDragon's free stardome for him/her and just threw this quickly together. The fighters are just something I once made using Davorama's FVCS.
