yes I see Miro too, but I see it filtered through your inimitable inner eye...you have lots of wonderful drawings here, playful, organic, like little creatures; they each have their own personality and stake out their own spaces. And then your usual swaths of color & paint strokes, some transparent, some opaque; and I love your brushwork, very rapid, very vital, lots of broken lines and clumps of color. This collage seems simpler than some of your others, more concentrated on a few forms varied across the piece; but it still has your subtlety and broad, broad energies. And some of your 'creatures' are small paintings in themselves—one of the things I love about your collages—with little articulated heads & limbs...You're always giving just the right amount of attention to detail, and knowing when to leave other areas alone. Another beautiful & articulate work from you, it's always a pleasure, always; and another fav.
