Description

I really struggled on this one, there's things that I like, and things that I don't. That planet must have gone in, then been removed, then put back in at least a dozen times. I like the planet, I sort of like the overall effects, I suspect that in truth it's all just a bit "too much" if you know what I mean. I need to keep the "less is more" philosophy in mind when I do these, I think. Anyway, this was done entirely in Photoshop CS3. The stars started out from the "glitterato" plugin from Flaming Pear, the Planet started out from the "lunarcell" plugin from the same company, but all of them had alot of modification afterwards. There's photos of clouds, random cloud-filters, and more. In all, 36 layers went into this. Yep, less is more; gotta remember that next time. Thanks for taking a look.

Looks pretty good to me. The planet looks like it's become a comet diving through the nebula towards the sun.

I tend to agree with your assessment of the picture: seems like there is way too much going on. I subscribe to the Less is More theory--although I'm really lousy at practicing it! Grin.
